-If schools had poor test scores, it in turn represented the reputation of the surrounding community
-Vise versa, the community would gain prestige if their schools do well
-Effects the movement of people to the community
-Loss of schools/jobs
-Schools that held constant low scores risked loss of management of school or the risk of the school being shut down entirely
-Community jobs at the school, such as teachers, counselors and desk work positions would lose their jobs if their school was shut down
-Economy
-Low test scores => institutionalized racism causing the rich to stay rich and the poor to stay poor, leaving the poor with even less resources
